Jacquelyn Kotar is the Association Director of Compliance, Training & Recruiting at YMCA OF METROPOLITAN FORT WORTH. Jacquelyn has over 10 years of experience working in various positions at the YMCA, including Operations Director, Association Aquatics Specialist, Senior Program Director, and District Aquatics Director. In their current role, Jacquelyn is responsible for implementing certification management system and training procedures for Lifeguard, Basic Life Support, Basic First Aid and Emergency Oxygen Administration. Jacquelyn also provides facility and aquatics maintenance support during Covid-19 shutdowns. Prior to their current role, Jacquelyn simultaneously led Aquatics Teams at the Benbrook Community Center YMCA, Ryan Family YMCA, ER Van Zandt Southwest YMCA , Westside YMCA and Walsh Ranch Community pools, providing 1,500 swim lessons and supervising 60-80 Aquatics employees each year. In their previous role as the Operations Director, they provided leadership to the aquatics operations for the Benbrook Community Center YMCA and Westside YMCA's, including supervising over 30 aquatics staff, creating and sustaining aquatics programming for both branches, creating and following the aquatics budget, and training staff. As a Program Director, they oversaw the Aquatics, Day Camp and Youth and Government departments and was responsible for supervising staff, implementing and sustaining programs, and creating and following the budgets for each respective department.
