Sophie Bennett

Sophie Bennett has a diverse work experience in the rugby industry. Sophie currently holds the position of Head of Rugby Operations at YMU, where they have been working since 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as an Athlete Support at the same company from December 2021 to May 2023.

Before joining YMU, Sophie worked at Bath Rugby for a significant period, starting in August 2014 and leaving in December 2021. During their time at Bath Rugby, they served as the Rugby Operations & Player Welfare Manager.

Their earlier work experience includes a role as WRU National Programme Coordinator at WRU from September 2005 to August 2014. Before that, they worked at Gloucester Rugby, first as a Community Development Officer from January 2001 to January 2005, and later as a Community Manager from January 2005 to September 2005.

From 1992 to 1998, Sophie Bennett attended Bridgnorth Endowed School. No degree or field of study was specified during their time there.
