Michał Jakubowski

Michał Jakubowski has a significant amount of work experience in the field of design. Michał is currently serving as the Head of Design at YND since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior UI/UX Designer at YND from June 2020 to February 2022. Before joining YND, Michał owned and operated their own studio called ooll — studio starting from November 2016. In their role as Owner / Creative Designer, they handled various multidisciplinary projects including website design, app design, VR apps, brand identities, logo design, and printed designs. Michał also provided comprehensive services for brands, including logo, identity, stationery, and website design along with full-stack development.

Michał also had experience working at EL Passion as a Senior UI/UX Designer from October 2019 to May 2020. Michał'sresponsibilities included working on UI and UX design projects for clients and internal use, conducting product design workshops, and creating deliverables for clients.

Earlier in their career, they worked at SYZYGY as a Senior Digital Designer from March 2016 to October 2016. There, they worked on multidisciplinary projects primarily focused on web designs for various brands. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Senior Digital Designer at Ars Thanea from May 2015 to March 2016, and as a Digital Designer from May 2014 to May 2015.

Michał's career started at Software Mind, where they worked as a Graphic Designer / UX, UI Designer from July 2011 to December 2012. In this role, they handled graphic designing for operational and marketing activities, as well as designing mobile and web applications and implementing front-end solutions.

Michał'searliest work experience was as a Graphic-Web Designer / PHP Developer at Info Media Publishing from August 2010 to February 2011. Here, they were responsible for designing and developing the Info-Architekta architecture vortal, including layout design, implementation of new functionalities, and backend coding.

Michał Jakubowski received their Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree in Architecture and Urban Design from Politechnika Krakowska im. Tadeusza Kościuszki, where they studied from 2008 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Uniwersytet Jana Kochanowskiego w Kielcach from 2007 to 2008, where they pursued Art Education but did not receive a degree.
