Cheryl Powers

Cheryl Powers has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Cheryl is currently serving as the Head of Hatchery Production and Sales at Ynsect since October 2021. Prior to this, they were the CEO of Jord Producers, a woman-owned Agribusiness that was recently sold to Ynsect. Cheryl also worked at Bryan Health as a Graduate Recruitment Coordinator, where they recruited students for various programs. Cheryl was previously the Assistant Director of Admissions at Hastings College, responsible for recruiting high school students and managing a large student database. Cheryl also worked for Hastings Public Schools as a School Counselor and Math Teacher, where they provided guidance and academic support to a diverse student population.

Cheryl Powers completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics, Biology, and Education at Hastings College from 1983 to 1987. Cheryl further pursued a Master's degree in Secondary School Counseling at the University of Nebraska at Kearney from 1997 to 1999.
