Ramani Hariharan's work experience includes:

- Currently serving as the Vice President & Head of Origination at Ÿnsect since 2022. In this role, Ramani is responsible for developing the global pipeline for future Ÿnsect farms through partnerships and joint ventures, enhancing the competitiveness of Ÿnsect farms, and contributing to sustainability objectives.

- Previously worked at ENGIE from 2006 to 2022. Ramani held various roles, including Director & Head of the New Business Factory, where they focused on developing new businesses for ENGIE and incorporating disruptive digital platforms into the company's core value propositions. They also served as the Director of Strategy & Market Development for Centralized Generation and as the Executive Vice President & Head of Strategy & New Business, IT and Communications for ENGIE Southeast Asia Middle East Africa.

- Prior to ENGIE, Ramani worked at Gartner Lee Limited as a Senior Consultant & Leader in the Power & Utilities Practice from 2003 to 2006.

- They also have experience at Toronto Hydro Energy Services Inc as the Manager of Generation - Wholesale Energy from 2001 to 2003 and at Provincial Power Inc as the General Manager of Energy Services from 2000 to 2001.

- Ramani's earlier experience includes working as a Manager of Business Development at Tractebel Energy South Asia from 1998 to 2000.

Ramani Hariharan has a strong educational background in engineering. They obtained a B.Tech degree in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in 1985. Later, in 1988, they completed their M.S. degree in Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In 2021, Ramani attended the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford for an Artificial Intelligence Programme. In 2022, they obtained a Diploma in Corporate Governance from The Corporate Governance Institute. Additionally, Ramani obtained the certification of P.Eng from Professional Engineers Ontario in September 2004.
