Matthew Goslett

Matthew Goslett is an accomplished technology professional with significant experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as Principal Engineer and Senior Staff Software Engineer at Yoco since May 2020, Matthew contributes to building tools and services that empower small businesses in Africa. Prior to this role, Matthew held the position of CTO at Balfour Group from July 2019 to May 2020, overseeing technology ventures with a focus on growth and customer acquisition. As CTO of MasterStart from September 2017 to July 2019, Matthew played a pivotal role in the early-stage development of the EdTech company. Additionally, as Co-founder and Technical Director of Superbalist.com from April 2011 to August 2017, Matthew was instrumental in creating the online retailer's initial e-commerce capabilities. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Accounting from the University of Cape Town, earned between 2006 and 2010.
