Ahmed ElGazzar

Ahmed ElGazzar has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ahmed is currently serving as the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) at Yodawy since July 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Board Director and Principal IT Consultant & Managing Director at Change Technologies LLC from December 2013 to June 2020.

Before their tenure at Change Technologies LLC, Ahmed held several positions at Transocean. Ahmed was the Regional Head of IT - Africa, Middle East and Asia from July to November 2013, where they headed the IT and Workplace Services organizations, managing a team of 250 employees and an annual budget of $40 million. Ahmed achieved significant cost savings and received outstanding ratings for customer service.

At Transocean, Ahmed also served as the Regional Manager of IT and Facilities - Africa and Mediterranean, Transition IT and Administrative Manager for the Transocean and Shelf Drilling Split in Egypt and Indonesia, Division Manager of IT and Facilities - Mediterranean, and Division Manager of IT - Africa & Middle East.

Earlier in their career, Ahmed worked as a Senior Systems Engineer and Systems Engineer at INTEC. Ahmed also gained experience as a Project Manager in IT and a Technical Support Engineer during their time as a freelancer.

Ahmed ElGazzar obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from 1997 to 2002 at The American University in Cairo. During the same period, they also pursued minors in Electronics and Music at the same institution. Prior to their university studies, Ahmed completed the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) from 1994 to 1996 at Cambridge International Examinations.
