Caitlin McDermott, MS, PhD, currently serves as a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Florida, focusing on a cost-benefit analysis project for the AFRI grant related to biomarkers of chronic disease risk. Prior experience includes roles as a Group Fitness and Yoga Instructor at Yoga Pod and a Doctoral Researcher specializing in probiotics and the microbiome at the University of Florida. Caitlin has also worked as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant in Food Science and Human Nutrition, a caregiver at Comfort Keepers, and completed internships at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital and CentraState Healthcare System.
