Jurgen Westerhof

Jurgen Westerhof has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Jurgen started their career as a co-founder of WebKoala Internet Enterprise in 2000, where they specialized in web development using an in-house framework. Jurgen worked with notable clients such as Garmin, Yamaha, and Nordic Timber Council before leaving in 2008. In 2006, they joined INFI B.V. as a software engineer until 2014. Jurgen then moved on to marviq as a technical lead, where they worked until 2020. Currently, they serve as the Chief Technology Officer at Yoho_App.

Jurgen Westerhof attended Ludgerusschool, although it is unknown when they attended or for how long. After Ludgerusschool, they went on to study at Griftland College from 1995 to 2001. During this time, they did not obtain a specific degree or field of study. Following their education at Griftland College, Jurgen enrolled at Utrecht University from 2001 to 2011, where they studied Information Science, although they did not earn a degree. In terms of certifications, Jurgen obtained several from Microsoft and Zend Technologies. Jurgen became a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer: Web Applications in November 2014, a Microsoft Certified Professional in January 2013, and a Microsoft Specialist: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 also in January 2013. Additionally, they became a Zend Certified Zend Framework Engineer in September 2011 and a Zend Certified PHP 5 Engineer in January 2010.
