Tharinda Supun Akalanka

Tharinda Supun Akalanka is an experienced professional currently serving as Production Department Manager for the Pneumatic Tire Division at Yokohama TWS since May 2023, overseeing the entire manufacturing process and quality assurance for a division employing over 158 staff members and producing more than 1800 tires daily. Previously, Tharinda held similar roles at Trelleborg Wheel Systems and has extensive experience in continuous improvement and business analytics from roles at Perfetti Van Melle and MAS Holdings. Additionally, Tharinda contributes as a Visiting Lecturer at FLITS Vocational Training Institute, teaching subjects related to Electrical Engineering.
