Felix Walsh

Felix is a recent graduate of the Melbourne Law School (Juris Doctor). His interests include governance and management in the disability sector as well as social justice initiatives, particularly those focused on the rights of people with disability. Felix has worked as a Policy and Law Reform Officer at a community legal center that provides services to people with disability. He has produced submissions for a variety of inquiries including the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation of People with Disability. Felix also serves on the equality and inclusion reference committee for the Independent Advisory Council for the NDIS. During 2019, Felix assisted Yooralla in the preparations for the Disability Royal Commission by undertaking an extensive audit of historical customer incidents. He is a Member of the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Youth Affairs Council Victoria. He has previously held a position on the steering committee at the Youth Disability Advocacy Service. Felix holds a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Melbourne (History Major; Media and Communications Minor). Felix identifies as a person with a disability. Felix joined the Yooralla Board on 16 September 2020.
