Janice Brown

Janice Brown is the current Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary at Yooralla. Janice has over 25 years of experience in finance, accounting, and auditing. Janice started their career as a fund accountant at The Wyatt Company in 1992. Janice became an audit manager at Arthur Andersen in 1995 and then a director at PricewaterhouseCoopers Melbourne in 2001. In 2010, they became the General Manager Corporate Services at Health Super where they oversaw the fund & corporate accounting functions, human resources function, and risk & compliance function. In 2012, they joined Navy Health Ltd as the Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary and had oversight of Finance, IT, Risk & Compliance and Governance. Janice has been with Yooralla since 2020.

Janice Brown has a Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance from the Governance Institute of Australia, a Chartered Accounting program (PY) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, a Bachelor of Economics with a field in Accounting from La Trobe University, and an HSC from Traralgon High School. Janice is also certified from ICSA (Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators) as an Associate, from the Governance Institute of Australia as an Associate Member, from the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants as a Chartered Accountant, and from ASFA/Macquarie University as a Diploma of Superannuation Management.
