Genesis Luke Abad

Genesis Luke Abad is an accomplished individual with a strong background in both research and behavioral health. Currently serving as an Assistant Speech Coach at York Community High School and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois College of Medicine under Dr. Sarah E, Genesis has also developed advanced communication and crisis intervention skills as a Crisis Counselor for Crisis Text Line. Previous experience includes working as a Registered Behavioral Technician at HAND OVER HAND BEHAVIORAL CONSULTANTS LLC and as a Laboratory Technician for the Chicago Beach Water Sampling Project in collaboration with the Chicago Park District. Additionally, Genesis has officiated youth soccer games with the U.S. Soccer Federation and held a position as a Sales Representative at Vector Marketing. Genesis holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology and Psychology from the University of Illinois Chicago.
