Bruce MacGregor

Bruce Macgregor is a senior management executive with more than three decades of public service experience. Following early experience in the private sector, he has served in senior roles in upper and lower-tier municipalities. As Chief Administrative Officer for the Regional Municipality of York since 2007, he has overseen services to more than 1.2 million residents across nine local municipalities. Bruce has driven enduring changes in the delivery of critical infrastructure and programs, advancing longer-term perspectives and multi-year budgeting while fostering leadership strengths throughout the organization.

He holds an undergraduate degree in engineering from the University of Toronto and has completed post-graduate studies (business) at the University of Toronto and Queen's University.
