Heather Cooper

Heather Cooper, CAP, OM, RM, has been with the York Region (The Regional Municipality of York) since March 2004, currently serving as Supervisor of Information Management, where leadership of a team of eight information management professionals and development of strategic planning initiatives are key responsibilities. Past roles within the organization include Supervisor of Administrative Services and Administrative Assistant to the Director of Strategic Business Planning, focusing on team support, recruitment, and high-level administrative tasks. Previous public sector experience includes various roles at York Region and Township of King. Heather's private sector experience includes work with Trans Hex Group. Educational qualifications include certifications in information management and administrative professional development, as well as a diploma in Law from Canadore College.
