Lei Liu

Lei Liu is an experienced technology professional specializing in support and management of various IT systems. As a Transit Management Systems Officer at York Region since July 2022, Lei provides support for Intelligent Transportation Systems and oversees hardware and software upgrades for York Region Transit. Prior to this role, Lei served as a Sr. Technical Support Analyst at Scotiabank, managing the full system life cycle for server and desktop solutions. Earlier experience includes a Technical Support Analyst position at International Financial Data Services, where Lei supported complex environments involving HP-Unix, Linux, and Windows server infrastructures, among others. Lei also worked as a Telecom Analyst at CIBC, overseeing VoIP systems, and as a Network Technician for Marcomm, implementing new LAN networks. Lei holds an Ontario College Advanced Diploma in Computer Engineering Technology from Seneca Polytechnic and a Bachelor of Science in Information and Computing Sciences from Beijing University of Chemical Technology.
