Robert Unterman

Robert Unterman is an accomplished manager with extensive experience in investment, marketing, and economic development. Currently serving as Manager of Investment & Marketing at York Region since 2009, Robert leads a team focused on attracting investment and fostering innovation in Ontario's third-largest population center. In addition, Robert oversees York Link, an award-winning economic development marketing platform promoting collaboration among municipalities and businesses. Prior roles include Marketing Manager at L3 Technologies and Commercial Attaché for the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, where significant contributions were made to enhance trade and investment in high-tech sectors. Robert holds multiple degrees, including an MBA from Tel Aviv University and a Master's Certificate in Organizational Leadership from York University.
