Currently serving as the Director of Product Development at Emergent Space Technologies, Inc. since January 2021, Kendall is responsible for flight and ground software development for civil and national security missions. Previous roles include Software Engineering Manager at Firefly Space Systems, Firmware & Electrical Engineering Manager at Tolteq, and Propulsion Avionics Supervisor at Virgin Galactic, among others. With expertise in C, C++, Python, and Linux, Kendall has a track record of leading teams and projects within the aerospace sector and managing software development for significant corporate clients, including American Express and Siebel Systems. An education in Software Development and Security from the University of Maryland Global Campus complements a career that began with embedded systems development in the 1980s.
