Abi Curtis

Abi Curtis serves as the Research and Knowledge Transfer Lead for the School of Humanities and holds the position of Professor of Creative Writing at York St John University since September 2010. In addition, Abi Curtis is the Head of Programme for Creative Writing and a Senior Lecturer in Literature and Creative Writing. Prior to this role, Abi Curtis was a Lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Sussex from September 2007 to July 2010. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Creative and Critical Writing from the University of Sussex obtained between 2003 and 2007, and a Master of Arts (MA) in Creative Writing from the University of Exeter completed in 2003.
