Hannah Lau

Hannah Lau is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in consultancy, marketing, and business development. As the Founder and Lead Consultant at Astera Asia since January 2015, Hannah has focused on contextualizing corporate best practices for small to medium enterprises to prepare them for growth. In addition, Hannah serves as a Beachhead Advisor for New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, assisting businesses in entering the Canadian market, and holds roles as an Entrepreneur in Residence at YSpace and an International Marketing Mentor at the Accelerator Centre. Previous positions include Director of Consulting at Debut Group, Manager of Business Consulting at EY, and Manager of Marketing & Communications at RZIM, where significant contributions included establishing brand presence across Asia and leading successful fundraising initiatives. Hannah also has a background as a Regional Account Manager at Ogilvy Health, achieving notable business growth and client management success. An accomplished academic, Hannah possesses a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.
