Claire Wooldridge serves as the Head of People at Yorkshire Cancer Research, leading the HR team to enhance employee experience and align with the charity's strategic aims. Previously, Claire held roles such as Volunteer Co-ordinator at Saint Michael's Hospice, where significant improvements to volunteer experiences were implemented, and as Director and Founder of Present Issue, an online gift service. Additional experience includes serving as Divisional HR Manager at Nuffield Hospitals, managing HR for ten hospitals, and establishing the HR and Training Department at Brunning and Price. Claire's career commenced at Unichema Chemicals Limited as a Personnel and Training Officer. Claire holds a Master's Degree in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from UMIST and a BA Hons in Agricultural & Food Marketing from Aberystwyth University.
