John Cave has extensive experience in conservation and project management, currently serving as the River Derwent Partnership Officer and Interim Projects Manager at Yorkshire Wildlife Trust since July 2017. Responsibilities include managing the Invasive Non-Native Species Project, chairing the Yorkshire Invasive Species Forum, designing and delivering conservation projects, and securing funding. Prior to this role, John Cave was a Project Assistant involved in a 4-month travel expedition to North America to study conservation practices in National Parks. Earlier experience includes working as an Administrative Assistant at Kirklees Council, where responsibilities involved processing invoices and managing customer inquiries. John Cave holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from the University of Hull, earned between 2011 and 2014.
