Yosef Mystel has more than twenty years of experience in the nursing home sector. He is also a philanthropist with a deep commitment to the Illinois Jewish community. Yossi Mystel is affiliated with a number of organizations in and around Chicago. As a graduate of Indiana University South Bend with an MBA from this university, he began his career as an assistant administrator at Brightview Care Center in Chicago. After that, e started a job where he was responsible to direct a 150-employee nursing home in Lincolnwood. A geriatric healthcare facility management company, called Aperion Care, was founded by Yosef Mystel in 2006. Currently, he oversees more than 50 nursing facilities in Indiana and Illinois as well as other properties at Aperion Care. As a managing partner, he grew the company's portfolio from two nursing homes to 24 across Indiana and Illinois. Besides overseeing the establishment of all 24 nursing homes across the Midwest, Yosef was also responsible for all human resource and financial operations. Having worked in residential administration for nearly two decades, Yosef Mystel has extensive experience helping people find homes for their loved ones. He has been serving as the President of Aperion Care since 2006. As President of Aperion Care, a company based in Illinois that provides a range of holistic services, Mystel oversees a team of professional caregivers, medical doctors, and physiotherapists. The Aperion Care company and Yosef Meystel have launched a project that aims to improve how the elderly are cared for at home. Among Meystel's goals is to integrate social and health care for the elderly, to activate the local community, and to motivate young people to help the elderly and those who are disadvantaged without requiring a large financial commitment. It is certainly helpful to involve young people with a positive example and their own actions for their proper behavior and thinking. Project objectives include reducing the number of institutions, that is, homes for the elderly, required to accommodate old, lonely, and powerless people. With this project, elderly people are directly helped in their own homes, including maintaining hygiene, maintaining the apartment's hygiene, supplying food and cooking light meals, reminding the elderly about medical checks, as well as assisting the visiting doctor.
