Pedro Leonardo

Pedro Leonardo has over 28 years of work experience. Pedro started their career in 1993 as a Lead Software Engineer and Project Manager at PT inovação. In 2000, they joined Cisco as a Software Engineer and progressed to become a Group Manager of Product Management and Software Engineering and Solutions. In 2018, they moved to Ayla Networks as a Group Product Manager. In 2019, they joined PubNub as a Senior Product Manager and is currently a Director of Product Management at Yotascale since 2021. Pedro has also been a CiscoLive distinguished speaker.

Pedro Leonardo has an extensive education history. Pedro obtained a 5 year degree, MsC equiv. in Electrical, Telecommunications, and Computer Engineering from Universidade do Porto between 1988 and 1993. Pedro then completed a Master of Science - MS in Information Management from Universidade do Porto between 1998 and 2000. Pedro also attended the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business and Columbia Business School, both in 2009 and 2010, to obtain an Executive MBA. In addition, they obtained an eMBA from Columbia Business School. Recently, Pedro has obtained several certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2021, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2021, and Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from Scrum Alliance in December 2020.
