Jasper van Beusekom

Jasper van Beusekom has a long and varied work experience. Jasper began their career in 2000 as a Systems Administrator/Manager Learning Centre at the Faculty of Computer Science, Dalhousie University. In 2001, they worked as a Software Developer (work-term) at Knowledge House Inc. Jasper then joined AOL LLC, Voice Services Operations in 2005 as a Sr. System Administrator/Team Lead. In 2009, they moved to NewNet Communications Technologies (Canada) Inc. as a Pr. System Administrator/Ops Team Lead. In 2017, they began working at SigMast Communications Inc. as a Tech Mgr Application Security. In 2021, they joined YouMail, Inc. as a Sr. Telephony Operations Engineer and in 2022 they were promoted to Director Investigations - Threat Lab at YouMail Protective Services.

Jasper van Beusekom began their education in 1989 at Agnes College - Leiden, where they obtained their HAVO degree in 1994. Jasper then attended Hogeschool Leiden from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained their HBO. Jasper then attended Dalhousie University from 1998 to 2003, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. In 2018, they obtained a Leadership for the New Tech Leader certification from Dalhousie Executive Education and in 2020 they obtained a Peer Leadership Program certification from Fire Inside Leadership.
