Jesse L.

Jesse L. has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2008. Jesse's first role was as a State Field Director for Defenders of Wildlife, where they managed office, billing, expenses, payroll, strategy and 40+ staff for a $1 million expenditure campaign. In 2009, they became a Political Community Organizer for SEIU Local 521, where they played a key role in executing Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act advocacy efforts. In 2012, they were hired into a competitive accelerated management training program at Wal-Mart, where they gained knowledge in supply chain management, scheduling to budget, customer service, large-scale operations, coaching by walking around, compliance and emergency protocols. Jesse frequently operated as the highest-level manager of a store with $60 million in yearly revenue. In 2014, Jesse held two roles simultaneously: a Healthcare Project Experience at the Medical University of South Carolina and a Campaign Manager for Oliver Baines for Fresno City Council. In 2016, they were promoted from Administrative Fellow to Director of Volunteer Services and Government Liaison at Grand Strand Medical Center - HCA. In 2020, they were promoted from top performing salesperson to a leadership role as Sales and Support Supervisor at Thriveworks. Additionally, they gained revenue cycle experience at Tidelands Health. Currently, Jesse is a Practice/Project Manager at Youme Healthcare and Proximity Sales Manager at Renewal by Andersen of Central North Carolina/Coastal North Carolina/Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where they launched and led a territorial sales office, recruited and trained over a dozen sales representatives, and exceeded sales goals within the first month.

Jesse L. obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from Allegheny College in 2008. Jesse then attended California State University, Fresno from 2011 to 2013, studying for a Master of Business Administration. In 2014, they obtained a Master's Degree in Health Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina. Jesse L. also holds certifications from the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation, Inc. and FEMA.
