As Director of Management Services, Mike brings over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, mostly in lending and credit administration.
At Young & Associates, Mike handles appraisal reviews, loan review, stress testing and modeling of loan portfolios, as well as policy work and loan portfolio due diligence. Prior to joining Young & Associates, Mike worked for almost 20 years as Chief Credit Officer for two community banks in Ohio and South Carolina. In those positions, he was responsible for managing the banks’ loan portfolio including concentration analysis, stress testing, problem loan management, board reporting and policy administration. He also worked as a credit officer for an $84 billion dollar bank and held various other credit and loan review positions. Mike is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. He also has a Bachelor of Business Administration Finance degree and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Toledo.
