Aisha Blackwell

Since 2013, Aisha has provided a range of human resources functions inclusive of community outreach, public relations, recruitment and retention, and organizational development for nonprofits in the Bay Area. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from UC San Diego, holds a New World of Work Certification, is an Emotional Intelligence Ambassador, and is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). Aisha is dedicated to driving initiatives that leverage, elevate, and sustain high levels of employee engagement. She thrives on motivating others and developing leaders for social good while proudly leading with YCD's organizational mission and values at heart. As an internal ambassador, she focuses on enriching processes, supporting core business priorities, company culture, organizational effectiveness, talent development, and performance standards.

Aisha is an avid Zumba lover and became a licensed Instructor in February 2020. A month later, she would then join the YCD family only 10 days prior to the Covid-19 quarantine lockdown. Talk about starting off the Pandemic years with a bang!
