Nicole Haroutunian

Senior Museum Educator at American Folk Art Museum

Nicole Haroutunian is an experienced museum educator and freelance writer with a diverse background in arts education and curriculum development. Currently serving as a part-time museum educator at The Noguchi Museum, Nicole also holds the position of Senior Museum Educator at the American Folk Art Museum, where responsibilities include leading various educational programs and writing curriculum guides. Nicole's freelance writing for Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls involves creating engaging podcast episodes for children. Past roles include editing for Underwater New York, co-founding a literary reading series in Montclair, NJ, and contributing to educational programs at the Museum of Modern Art and The Morgan Library & Museum. Nicole holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Sarah Lawrence College and a BA in Studio Art from Vassar College.
