Dr. Michelle Shinn

Dr. Michelle Shinn has a diverse work experience that spans across multiple industries. Dr. Michelle is currently serving as the Executive Vice President of Global Supply Chain at Young Living Essential Oils. Prior to this role, they held the positions of Senior Vice President and Vice President of Global Supply Chain Operations at the company.

Before joining Young Living Essential Oils, Dr. Shinn owned their own business, KM Shinn Consulting, LLC., where they served as the Business Owner.

Dr. Michelle also has experience in manufacturing and operations, having worked at Novolex as a Plant Manager and at Precision Castparts in various roles such as Business Unit Manager, General Manager, and Director of Continuous Improvement.

Dr. Michelle'sexpertise in employee engagement, cost performance improvement, and process optimization has been showcased throughout their career. Dr. Shinn has a proven track record of implementing successful strategies and achieving positive results in organizations they have worked for.

Dr. Michelle Shinn earned a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Management from Hannibal-LaGrange University in 1996-1997. Dr. Michelle then pursued an MBA in Business Administration and Management from William Woods University from 1998-2000. In 2010, they completed an Executive Leadership Development Program at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business. Currently, they are working towards a Doctorate of Business Administration DBA in Business Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix, which they started in 2016 and is expected to complete in 2024. Dr. Shinn also holds additional certifications including a Lean Manufacturing Certificate from Precision Castparts and a Six Sigma Black Belt from Caterpillar Inc.
