Melissa DeAngelis, IIDA, NCIDQ, WELL AP has over 20 years of experience in the design industry. Melissa started their career in 1999 as a Design Director at McWaters, Inc., where they worked until 2003. Melissa then joined Young Office as an Account Manager from 2003 to 2006. In 2006, they briefly worked at DeKalb Office Environments as an Account Manager. Melissa returned to Young Office in 2009, this time as SC Workplace Market Manager & Director of Design. From 2007 to 2009, they worked at INVISTA as a Fiber Consultant.

Melissa DeAngelis, IIDA, NCIDQ, WELL AP, has a diverse education history. Melissa obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design from Anderson University, where they studied from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they pursued Studio Art and Interior Design at The University of Georgia from 1994 to 1996. Melissa also has a background in Early Childhood Education, having studied at Clemson University from 1990 to 1994.

In addition to their academic achievements, Melissa has obtained several certifications. Melissa is a WELL AP, certified by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), which they obtained in August 2020. Melissa is also an NCIDQ certificate holder, having obtained their certificate from CIDQ in April 2002 (Certificate #017893).
