Magda Davis

Magda Davis has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Magda currently serves as the Director of Programs and Operations at the World Affairs Council-Seattle, a position they have held since August 2022. Prior to this role, Magda worked as the Operations Manager at the same organization from September 2021 to August 2022. Magda also worked at MIL-SYSTEM as a Shareholder and Advisor for International Trade, specializing in Chinese, English, and Polish languages, from June 2015 to 2021. Magda briefly worked as an Event Specialist at Asia Society from February 2020 to April 2020. From June 2016 to May 2019, they were involved in Programs, Operations, and Global Education at the World Affairs Council of Greater Houston. Magda gained experience in Business Development for Medical and Healthcare, both domestically and internationally, at Burzynski Clinic from October 2012 to November 2013. Finally, they worked as an International Trade Specialist with a focus on translation at MIL-SYSTEM from 2009 to 2011.

Magda Davis completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Chinese Studies at the University of Warsaw from 2006 to 2009. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Chinese European Economics and Business at The Berlin School of Economics and Law from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, during the same period, they obtained a Master's degree in International Business from the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics in Chengdu, China. In 2009, they attended the National Sun Yat-Sen University in Taiwan for Chinese Language studies. Magda's education journey continued in 2014 when they enrolled at Rice University, where their field of study is Russian, but the completion status of their degree is unknown.
