Janna Burns

Janna Burns has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as the Executive Director of Teacher Development and School Support at the Young Women's Preparatory Network since July 2023. Prior to this role, Janna Burns was the Principal at the Young Women’s Leadership Academy at Arnold from July 2018 to June 2023. Janna Burns also held positions at Grand Prairie High School from June 2012 to July 2018, where responsibilities included Dean of Instruction and Master Teacher/Instructional Coach. Earlier in the career, Janna Burns was an English Teacher/Coach at Bill Arnold Middle School from July 2002 to June 2012. Janna Burns earned a Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on English from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Education from The University of Texas at Arlington.
