Michael Kuntz

Michael Kuntz is the current Managing Director at YoungAmericaCapital. Michael has over 15 years of experience in commercial real estate investment banking. Prior to joining YoungAmericaCapital, Michael was the Managing Director at ROGO Capital/1st Bridgehouse Securities. There, they were responsible for origination, underwriting, due diligence and structuring for a commercial real estate lender specializing in providing debt financing for the acquisition, bridge, construction, mezzanine and refinancing of all commercial real estate asset classes with a specialty in hospitality, golf and golf resorts.

Before their time at ROGO Capital/1st Bridgehouse Securities, Michael was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Wet Electrics, a software integration company focused on multi-media applications. While at Wet Electrics, Michael developed strategic relationships with NEC Technologies and the Nederlander Organization which reduced the time-to-market and provided product validation for the company’s flagship software product. Michael also successfully raised $2.3 million in equity and debt financing and implemented internal budgeting and financial control procedures.

Michael Kuntz is a well-respected authority in commercial real estate investment banking. Michael's experience and expertise have helped him build a successful career in this ever-changing industry.

Michael Kuntz has an MBA from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business, a BS from Boston College Carroll School of Management, and is FINRA certified in Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent), Series 7 (General Securities Representative), and Series 79 (Investment Banking Representative).

They work with Igor Gourari - MD, Investment Banking, Bruce Kaufman - MD, Co-Head of Healthcare/Life Sciences Group, and Kristina M. Walsh - Co-Head of Consumer & Retail Banking. Michael Kuntz reports to Peter Formanek, Founder & Managing Partner.
