Kumar Balasingam

Kumar Balasingam's work experience includes five different positions. In 2019, they were an Applications & Technical Sales Engineer at Youngblood Automation. In 2018, they were a Technical Literature Engineer at Whirlpool Corporation, where they worked with a team to compare and normalize technical sheets and wire diagrams, resulting in annual multiple six-figure savings. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Student Recruiter and Engineering Graphics (Solidworks) Teaching Assistant at Andrews University. As a Student Recruiter, they redesigned the way the department did recruiting. As a Teaching Assistant, they taught SolidWorks and Autocad in an Engineering Graphics course. In 2017, they were an Engineering Intern at Vickers Engineering, Inc., where they worked with a team of interns to design high volume fully automated CNC machining cells for Honda and Toyota car parts. Kumar also reverse engineered functional gauges. In 2014, they were an Electrical Technician at Plant Services Andrews University, where they maintained and repaired fire, safety and lighting electrical systems, and assisted with complex wiring installations.
