Mel Gibbons has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. They started their career as a Sales Associate at Gap Inc. and worked there for eight years, providing excellent customer service and assisting customers with their needs.

Mel Gibbons has an education history that includes several academic institutions and certifications. Mel attended the CUNY New York City College of Technology, where they studied Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering. They also pursued further education at the Borough of Manhattan Community College and obtained an Engineer's Degree in Network and System Administration/Administrator.

In addition to their college education, Mel attended the Per Scholas Institute for Technology twice. In 2015, they obtained a CompTIA Network+ certification in Network and System Administration/Administrator. In 2010, Mel obtained a CompTIA A+ certification, also from Per Scholas Institute for Technology.

Before their college and certification experiences, Mel graduated from Satellite Academy High School in 2000 and obtained a High School Diploma.

Mel also has additional certifications outside of their educational experiences. They obtained a BICSI Installer 1 (INST1) certification from Brooklyn Workforce Innovations in November 2021. In October 2021, they obtained an OSHA 30 certification from the US Department of Labor OSHA. In March 2018, Mel obtained a Nokia AirScale Certification from Nokia. Lastly, in November 2010, they obtained a CompTIA A+ Certification and in December 2015, they obtained a CompTIA Network+ certification, both from CompTIA.
