Susanna Uelderink

Susanna Uelderink has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Susanna started their career in 2012 as an Invalkracht at Aveleijn, a care institution for individuals with intellectual disabilities. During their time there, they were responsible for cleaning and maintaining the living spaces for both children and adults. Susanna also had the opportunity to interact and engage with the residents.

In 2012, Susanna also took on the role of VNS-Vertegenwoordiger at D.R.V. Hippocampus, a student equestrian association. In this position, they organized and coordinated equestrian competitions for both the association and all student riders in the Netherlands. Susanna worked independently but reported to the association's board and members.

From 2014 to 2015, Susanna had a stageplaats (internship) in orthopedagogy/psychology at SBO de Oosteres, a school for special primary education. During their internship, they gained diverse experience and independence, developed diagnostic skills, and obtained the Basisaantekening Psychodiagnostiek (Basic Psychodiagnostics Certificate).

In 2015, Susanna worked as a Klantadviseur/verkoopmedewerker (Customer Advisor/Sales Assistant) at Xerox. Susanna demonstrated strong social skills, a customer-oriented approach, and the ability to work systematically.

In 2016, Susanna became a Begeleider op een woongroep (Guide in a residential group) at JP van den Bentstichting, where they supported young adults with intellectual disabilities. Susanna'sresponsibilities ranged from daily living support to engaging in conversations with clients dealing with various issues such as addiction, personality disorders, and anxiety.

From 2017 to 2018, Susanna worked as a Begeleider passend onderwijs (Guide for inclusive education) at Inzowijs. In this role, they assisted students in inclusive education settings.

From 2017 to 2018, Susanna also worked as a Kindercoach (Child Coach) at KiPa Coaching, primarily using equine-assisted therapy methods to help children facing challenges in their daily lives, such as bullying, academic difficulties, and behavioral issues.

From 2018 to 2020, Susanna held the role of Jeugdzorgwerker (Youth Care Worker) at Cardea, providing intensive coaching to children aged 5 to 10 with developmental or behavioral problems. Susanna aimed to help these children gain self-confidence and experience joy in their daily lives.

From 2018 to 2020, Susanna also worked at Junis Kinderopvang as a Gespecialiseerd pedagogisch medewerker (Specialized Pedagogical Assistant). Susanna'sresponsibilities included supporting the development of children aged 7 to 12, observing them closely for any issues, and managing various organizational tasks at the facility.

In 2020, Susanna joined YSDS as an Operations Coordinator. Susanna progressed to the position of Senior Operations Coordinator in 2022 before assuming the role of Head of Operations in 2023.

Susanna Uelderink has a strong educational background. Susanna obtained their Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Universiteit Twente, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their pre-university education at Groene Hart Lyceum, specializing in Economics and Society. Susanna pursued their Master's degree in Developmental and Child Psychology at Utrecht University, where they attended from 2014 to 2015.
