Larry Chu

Larry Chu has extensive work experience in various scientific and engineering roles.

Larry started their career as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor in October 2002 and worked there until July 2003.

In March 2003, they joined the University of Wisconsin as a Research Associate and held this position until October 2004. Larry then continued their research work as a Research Associate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2004 to 2005.

Larry then moved to industry and worked at Genetic Assemblies, Inc. as a Research Scientist from October 2004 to June 2005.

Afterward, they joined Colibrys Inc. as a Senior Product Development Engineer, where they worked from June 2005 to April 2007.

Following Colibrys Inc., Larry worked at Codon Devices, Inc. as a Senior Microfluidics Engineer from April 2007 to April 2009.

Larry then co-founded Gen9, Inc. and served as the Executive Vice President of Engineering from August 2009 to December 2010.

Next, Larry became the VP of Engineering at Extended Solution, Inc. from January 2011 to April 2012.

Finally, they joined Seventh Sense Biosystems as a Consultant and later became the Principal Scientist, starting in April 2011. Larry currently holds these positions at Seventh Sense Biosystems.

Larry Chu received their Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on MEMS and Microfluidics, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Larry began their doctoral studies in 1999 and successfully completed them in 2003.
