Laverne Bennett

Laverne Bennett has extensive experience working in project management and related roles. Laverne is currently employed at Yourgene Health as the Head of Project Management Office. Prior to their current role, Laverne worked as a Project Manager in the Research and Development department at Yourgene Health. Laverne was responsible for managing projects and ensuring their successful completion.

Before joining Yourgene Health, Laverne worked at ReAssure as a Project Manager. In this role, they oversaw the data center move of virtual machines, coordinating with SME teams and stakeholders to ensure a smooth migration process. Laverne Bennett obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Literature and Linguistics from the University of Alberta, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Laverne further pursued studies in Marine Mammal Surveying at ORCA (Organisation Cetacea) from an unspecified start year to 2021. Currently, Laverne is pursuing a BSc Natural Sciences (Honours) degree with a specialization in Biology at The Open University, which they began in 2018 and is expected to complete in 2023.
