Ryan Waddington

Ryan Waddington has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

In 2012, Waddington started their career as a Retail Merchandiser at 2XU, where they were responsible for analyzing stock levels and trends. Ryan later became an ACT Sales Representative and NSW Sales Representative at 2XU, focusing on building relationships with staff to maximize sales and organizing displays.

From 2014 to 2019, Waddington worked as a Professional Triathlete at Triathlon Australia, where they created business plans and financial forecasts.

In 2016, Waddington held multiple roles, including being a Freelance Writer at Bike Citizens, a Group Fitness Instructor at South Australian Aquatic and Leisure Centre, and a Relief Teacher at various schools.

In 2017, Waddington became a Secondary School Teacher at Queensland Department of Education, teaching subjects such as Physical Education, Science, and Humanities.

In 2019, Waddington became a Triathlon & Multisport Coach at Elite Triathlon Performance America, establishing a new Triathlon Club and coaching athletes to achieve their goals.

From 2020 to 2022, Waddington worked at Beehively, starting as an Account Executive before becoming a Sales Manager and Manager of Sales & Growth. In these roles, they focused on increasing sales, profitability, and revenue, as well as optimizing the organization's growth.

Currently, Waddington is the Customer Success Manager at Trellis Technologies Pty Ltd, where they ensure customers are supported in their sustainability journey and helps develop customer-centric software solutions. In 2023, they will assume the position of Head of New Business, responsible for analyzing prospective customer needs and overseeing the growth of the company's sales function.

Ryan Waddington attended Baulkham Hills High School from 2004 to 2009. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Advanced Business Leadership) degree at Western Sydney University from 2010 to 2012, specializing in Economics and Finance. In 2014, Ryan enrolled in the Australian Catholic University and obtained a Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary), with a focus on secondary education and teaching.
