Mia Pierson,LMFT is a Clinical Director at Youth Emerging Stronger, where Mia supervises a team of therapists and provides clinical support to runaway homeless youth and previously unhoused Transitional Living Program participants. Mia is also an Adjunct Professor at Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology, teaching Diagnosis and Treatment of Mental Health Disorders. Mia has a background in psychotherapy, counseling, and clinical supervision with various organizations such as The People Concern and EVE'S PLACE OF PEACE. Mia holds a M.A. in Clinical Psychology with a MFT emphasis from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Clark Atlanta University. Mia is dedicated to helping individuals improve their mental health and well-being.
