Ruba Najjar

Ruba Najjar is a qualified professional with a diverse background in counseling, therapy, and education. Currently serving as a CBT Counselor at the Youth Employment Service since June 2022, Ruba has previously worked as a Recreation Therapist at Recreational Respite and in client services at Morneau Shepell. Prior experiences include teaching at Ontario International School and serving as a counselor during field placement at Street Haven At The Crossroads. Ruba has also contributed as a project worker at Scarborough Women's Centre and has held positions as a medical intern and English teacher at T.C Turgut Ozal Medical School. Ruba holds a degree in Neuroscience and Psychology from the University of Toronto and a Post Graduate Certificate in Addictions and Mental Health from Durham College.
