Tamera Simon

Tamera Simon is an aspiring bioengineering and biomedical engineering student at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, expected to graduate in 2028. Currently, Tamera is a barista at Starbucks and a co-founder of Genesis.ttr, while also participating in various mentorship and guidance programs such as Matriculate and the Ron Brown Scholar Program. Tamera has a passion for promoting STEM fields as a staff writer for both the Youth Journal Of STEM Research and Young Journalists of America. Previous experience includes roles as a student researcher with the International Youth Research Initiative, participation in the AI4ALL program at Columbia University, and completing a summer immersion program with Girls Who Code. Tamera graduated from Mundy's Mill High School in 2024.
