Hanseo Kim

Hanseo Kim has a diverse work experience, starting with being a High School Researcher at Kyungpook National University in 2023. Hanseo then went on to found and serve as the CEO of the Teen Research Association, a nonprofit organization focused on empowering teen researchers. Hanseo also held the role of Chief Technology Officer, District Director of South Korea, and LinkedIn Manager at Youth Research Initiative, where they aimed to inspire the next generation of researchers and change-makers. In 2020, Hanseo worked as a School Photographer at Daegu International School and has been a Student there since 2011. Hanseo also served as the Chief Business Development Officer at IndusteelTech, a nonprofit organization focused on empowering underrepresented areas in cities with technology-driven solutions. Additionally, Hanseo worked as an Editor & Writer at Earthwise, a nonprofit organization centered around climate justice and advocacy. Hanseo has held leadership positions at various organizations, including Co-President and Vice President at Korea International Synthetic Biology Cooperative (KISBC), and Founder of the Yang-ro Won Picture Service Club. Hanseo also served as the Webmaster of the High School Student Council at Daegu International School. Currently, they are the Chemistry Curriculum Director at the Youth Mentorship Project, a nonprofit organization focused on increasing STEM outreach to schools and community centers lacking in resources.

Hanseo Kim attended Daegu International School from 2010 to 2025, where they pursued High School/Secondary Diploma Programs. In addition, they obtained a DELE A2 certification from the Instituto Cervantes in December 2022 and an HSK Level 3 certification from the Hanban Confucius Institute in January 2020.
