Antoinette Basualdo-Delmonico

Antoinette Basualdo-Delmonico has an extensive work history in the field of social work and research. Antoinette started their career as a Research Assistant at Boston University School of Social Work in 2007, where they assisted with the implementation of a mixed-method longitudinal study of youth mentoring relationships. Antoinette then worked as a Special Services Consultant and Language Instructor at Concilio Hispano, Inc from 2005 to 2007.

In 2008, Basualdo-Delmonico joined Boston University School of Social Work again, this time as a Research Project Associate. Antoinette played a key role in the implementation of a mixed-method longitudinal study of youth mentoring relationships. Antoinette managed participant recruitment and trained a team of undergraduate/graduate students to conduct study interviews.

Basualdo-Delmonico also worked as an Independent Consultant from 2013 to 2014, where they served as a Technical Assistance Trainer and a Co-Principal Investigator for a program evaluation study funded by OJJDP. Antoinette was responsible for protocol development, IRB approval process, and implementation of the approved study design.

From 2014 to 2015, Basualdo-Delmonico worked as a Research Consultant at WestEd, assisting with research projects. Antoinette then joined The Fenway Institute in 2015 as a Research Consultant, where they assisted with the implementation of a research study focused on the experiences of parents of LGBTQ youth of color. Antoinette translated study material into Spanish and conducted analysis of qualitative interview data.

In 2014, Basualdo-Delmonico started working at Just-A-Start Corporation as an Evaluation Manager, where they worked with program staff to identify programmatic outcomes and data needed for demonstrating outcomes. Antoinette also played a key role in customizing Salesforce as a tool for data tracking and conducted program assessments.

Antoinette then took on the role of Senior Manager of Learning & Evaluation at Just-A-Start Corporation from 2019 to 2019. In this position, they focused on learning and evaluation initiatives within the organization.

Basualdo-Delmonico also worked as a part-time faculty instructor at Boston College Graduate School of Social Work from 2013 to 2014 and Boston University School of Social Work from 2010 to present.

Most recently, Basualdo-Delmonico joined YouthBuild USA in 2019 as the Senior Director of Impact and Learning. Antoinette recently transitioned to the role of Vice President of Impact & Learning in early 2022. Antoinette'sresponsibilities in this role include overseeing the impact and learning initiatives for the organization.

Antoinette Basualdo-Delmonico earned a Ph.D. in the Interdisciplinary Program in Sociology & Social Work from Boston University, graduating in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Guidance and Counseling K-12 from The Sage Colleges - Russell Sage College in 1996. Antoinette'sundergraduate education includes a Bachelor's degree in Psychology & Spanish from the University at Buffalo, completed in 1994.
