Biructait Mengesha

Biructait Mengesha has a range of experience in finance, operations, and management roles. In 2011, they co-founded Aman Children's Home, where they served as a Co-Founder until 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as an Operations Associate at Mass Mentoring Partnership. Biructait then joined Boston Education Fund (BEDF) as a Finance and Operations Associate from 2015 to 2016. In 2018, they became an MBA Student Consultant at City of Haverhill for a brief period. Later in 2018, Biructait joined YouthBuild USA, where they held various positions, including Americorps Finance Manager from 2018 to 2020, International Operations Manager from 2020 to 2022, and currently, they serve as the Director of International Operations.

Biructait Mengesha holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University, which was obtained between 2016 and 2018. Biructait also has a Bachelor's degree from Middlebury College, and a Certificate in Development Project Management from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. Additionally, they completed their International Baccalaureate Diploma at UWC Adriatic - Collegio del Mondo Unito dell'Adriatico O.N.L.U.S.
