Hazar Najjar

Hazar Najjar is an experienced professional in communication and outreach, currently serving as an Outreach Assistant at Youthful Cities and a Communications Coordinator at Impakt Foundation for Social Change since early 2022. Concurrently, Hazar has been a Journalist for NoonPost since April 2019. Past roles include Campaign Coordinator at Syrian Canadian Foundation, Communication Assistant at Sitti Social Enterprise Limited, and Youth Worker at Access Alliance Multicultural Health and Community Services. Hazar also gained experience as an Intern at CJRU 1280AM and worked as a Journalist for Alkhaleejonline. Hazar began a career in project assistance with Pollution Probe. Education was pursued at Seneca Polytechnic, where Hazar earned an Associate of Arts degree in Journalism from 2017 to 2019.
