Kate Schwartz is an experienced UX research professional currently serving as the Staff UX Research Lead for Gen AI Creation at YouTube since March 2017. In this role, Kate oversees user experience research for various initiatives, including YouTube Comments and Lightweight Engagement. Previously at YouTube, Kate held positions as a Senior UX Researcher and User Experience Researcher, leading research efforts on Comments and Subscriptions. Prior to YouTube, Kate worked at Google as a Product Marketing Manager and co-founded TCO London. Additional experience includes roles in marketing and brand strategy at LendUp, FCB Global, ORBITZ, and The Energy Annex. Kate earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Colorado College.
