Romer Rosales

Romer Rosales currently serves as the VP of Engineering R&D for YouTube Recommendations, focusing on responsible growth by advancing AI/ML, data science, and product engineering since September 2022. Prior to this role, Romer held various leadership positions at LinkedIn, including Sr. Director of Artificial Intelligence, where responsibilities encompassed AI for flagship products and core foundations, alongside co-chairing the HOLA Employee Resource Group promoting diversity and belonging. Additional experience includes significant roles at companies such as Yahoo, Siemens Medical, and 100Plus, along with contributions to academic research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of Toronto. Romer holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Boston University and multiple degrees in machine learning and engineering from prestigious institutions.
