David Beazley

David Beazley has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Starting in 1998, they worked as a Senior Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers until 2003. David then moved on to become a Programme Manager at Post Office Ltd from 2002 to 2005. Following that, they worked as a Project Manager at BT Wholesale from September 2005 to April 2006. David then joined Marks and Spencer as a Programme Manager from March 2005 to November 2006.

In 2006, David began working at British Sky Broadcasting as a Programme Manager until 2009 when they transitioned to a Delivery Manager role at BSkyB, where they worked until 2010. From 2010 to 2014, they served as the Head of Software Engineering for Sky's eCommerce department, overseeing a team of approximately 150 software engineers. During this time, the team played a crucial role in transitioning Sky's online sales and service propositions.

David then assumed the position of Head of Software Engineering for Sky Store from March 2014 to June 2015, leading a team of around 100 Software Engineers in the development and launch of Sky's TVOD proposition. Following this, they became the Director of Software Engineering for NOW TV in June 2015. In this role, they headed the NOW TV technology teams and was responsible for the development and running of various OTT services across multiple countries until May 2021.

Additionally, David held a role as a Board Observer for You.i TV from January 2019 to December 2020, where they supported Sky's investment in the cross-platform technology start-up. Currently, they serve as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at YouView TV Limited, a position they have held since June 2021.

David Beazley attended the University of Nottingham from 1987 to 1989, where they pursued a BEng degree in Engineering. Prior to that, there is no available information regarding their education history, except that they may have attended Wrekin College.
